Info for Attendees of MINDvention

Thanks for attending (or thinking about attending MINDvention). Having MINDvention in Philly will be new for all of us. The Raddison Hotel has been recently renovated and it will be awesome for a group of our size.  Below is some information that we hope will be helpful as you plan for your trip. The MINDvention team and performers are looking forward to seeing you in November.

Arriving by Plane

The Phila. airport code is PHL. 

The Trenton airport code is TTN (Trenton is closer to the hotel and often cheaper than flying into Phila).
Sorry, but the Hotel does not have a shuttle service from the airport.

Arriving by Train or Traveling by Train from the Airport

From the Phila. Airport, you take the Airport Line to Jefferson Station, and then take the West Trenton Line straight to Trevose Station. The distance from Trevose Station to the hotel is less than 2 miles and you can Uber over. 

Trains from up and down the East Coast all travel to Phila’s 30th Street Station. From there take the West Trenton Line straight to Trevose Station.

If you fly into Trenton, NJ, take the West Trenton Line straight to Trevose Station. Distance is 20 minutes from Trenton, to the Trevose Station. The distance from Trevose Station to the hotel is less than 2 miles and you can Uber over. 

 

Where can I get something to eat?

There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a two-minute walk to a WaWa (Convenience Store open 24 hours). They have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a lot more. Wawa is a popular spot with the locals and their food is pretty good.

About a mile and a half away is the Neshaminy Mall. They have a Food Court inside and ringing the mall are the following; Chik Fil-A, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Cracker Barrel, Red Robin Burgers, On the Border Mexican, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Uno Pizzaria

If you are thinking about a Philly Cheese Steak, and we know you are… Steve’s Prince of Steaks is less than two miles away and again, a favorite with the locals. It’s not a fancy place and has limited seating. 

What else is around?

If you are arriving on Saturday and looking for something to do, Eric Samuels will be presenting his one-man show at the Smoke & Mirrors Magic Theater at 7 PM on 11/16. Click here for more info.

A few miles from the venue is Parx Casino for those who gamble.
